Our Founder

Mrs. Esther Agidotan Oghafua, RN, BSN, is the driving force behind Nurse Esta Initiative, where she not only leads as the President but also serves as the hands-on Executive Director.

She hails from Ughoton, Okpe Local Government, Delta State Nigeria.

As a Registered Nurse in Chicago, USA, she brings expertise backed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Capella University.

Despite starting with a degree in Banking and finance from the University of Benin, Mrs. Esther Oghafua pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse, a testament to her unwavering determination.

Known for her caring nature, Mrs. Esther Oghafua has a history of contributing to charitable activities since childhood.

In 2020, she officially founded Nurse Esta Initiative, dedicated to making a positive impact globally, especially in Africa and Nigeria. Her passion for seeing smiles on people’s faces has driven the organization’s success in reaching numerous lives across different states in Nigeria.

Mrs. Esther Oghafua draws strength from her faith in God, the gratitude of those she helps, and the joy expressed through testimonials and personal messages.

Her long-term vision is to expand the organization’s reach across all states in Nigeria and extend its positive impacts to other African countries.

In her call to action, she invites individuals, organizations, and the government to join hands in the noble cause of making the world, Africa, and Nigeria a better place for everyone.
